CLASSES AND FEES FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

Early Learning Foundations - 3 year olds (T/Th mornings)

• Play-based learning with a focus on building social skills; discovery through play to aid in development of verbal and manipulative skills, judgement, reasoning, and creativity; exposure to early literacy and numeracy.

• 2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday mornings)

• 9:30am-11:45am (2.25 hours)

• $84 per month ($159 before $75 affordability grant)

• $100 Registration fee + $100 Field trip/classroom/party supply fee.

• Children must be 3 years old by September 1st of the year they are enrolled. Children can attend on or after their 3rd birthday by December 31st.

Kindergarten Readiness Program - 4 & 5 year olds ​(M/W/F mornings)

• Play-based learning with a focus on building social skills; early literacy, writing, and math skills. This program is designed for children who are entering into Kindergarten the following school year.

• 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)

• 9:15am-11:45am  (2.5 hours)

• $105 per month ($180 before $75 affordability grant)

• $100 Registration fee + $100 Field trip/classroom/party supply fee.

• 3 year olds attending this program must be turning 4 years of age by December 31st of the year they are enrolled.

Subsidy Information

As part of the federal-provincial child care agreement, the Government of Alberta has implemented their new Child Care Affordability Transition to help cover the cost of child care. ​

​

The affordability grant allows Bonnie Doon Playschool to reduce fees for our program by $75 per month. 

​

Parents can also apply for additional subsidies. If you qualify, it may cover remaining monthly fees.

Fees that apply to all programs:

• Fundraising fee: $100.00 per fundraiser per child enrolled. 

• Bee clean fee: $150.00 (if not met).

• Volunteer commitment deposit: $150.00 (If not met).

• If any of the above commitments are not met, the fee amount will be withdrawn from your account.
